Limala rugs are carefully fabricated by female artists in rural Morocco, specifically the Atlas Mountains. Going on a rug journey means connecting to ancient artisanship and stories.
Care
  • Our rugs are handcrafted from 100% natural sheep’s wool and are made to last for generations.
  • Vacuum your rug regularly and give it a good shake outdoors every few weeks. Whenever possible, let it air in direct sunlight for a few hours—a traditional way in Morocco to naturally refresh wool rugs.
  • Every four to five months, gently brush your rug with a soft steel-bristle brush to remove loose wool and keep it looking its best.
  • For spills, use only a mild natural soap and avoid harsh chemical cleaners. If you’re unsure how to treat a stain, simply send us a photo—we’re always happy to advise you before any damage is done.
  • For stubborn or larger stains, we recommend professional rug cleaning rather than using stronger cleaning methods at home. Proper care will help preserve the beauty of your handcrafted rug for many years to come.

• Because each rug is custom-made just for you, we’re unable to accept cancellations or returns once production has started
• We’ll keep you updated at different stages of your rug’s journey—from our artisans’ workshop to your home
